Where to eat in Mykonos take note!

Where to Eat in Mykonos Town (Chora)

→ Restaurant D’Angelo:

The Restaurant D’Angelo is very close to the famous windmills Kato Milli (one of the must-see places in Mykonos), has no sea views but its good location, speed and varied Italian and Greek food make it a very good choice.

We ordered two pasta dishes of 12€ and 17€, everything was great! Plus they gave us a discount in case we came back.

→ Katerina’s Bar:

Katerina’s Bar is located in Little Venice and its balconies have a view of the impressive mills, live Greek food and specialize in seafood dishes as in many other restaurants on the island. You have a 4,5 and 1800 opinions on TripAdvisor!

→ Kastro’s Restaurant:

The restaurant Kastro’s is located in an alley overlooking the sea that looks like taken from a postcard, we went for a drink and relax for a while, but also serve food with very good looks and have balconies overlooking the sea overlooking the mills.

We drank some juices that cost us 6€ each, being such a tourist area and such a beautiful alley did not surprise us too much.

You can also stay for lunch and enjoy Kastro’s Mousaka or grilled octopus, they had pintza!

→ 180 Degrees Sunset Bar:

At the 180 Degrees Sunset Bar we could enjoy a spectacular sunset from the top of Mykonos.

We recommend you arrive by taxi, motorcycle or rental car as we did, has free parking and must leave the key to a person, something quite common in Greece so we could see on our trip.

It’s not the cheapest place to eat in Mykonos, but the views are spectacular!

Where to eat cheap in Mykonos Town (Chora)

A very economic option to eat in Mykonos are the pita gyros, in the center of Mykonos Town we tried them in two different places and in both very good!

Leonidas in the center of Mykonos Town, is a small place in which surely you will have to make some tail although they are quite fast serving, prepare at the moment pork pita gyros and chicken with chips.

We tried both and I get hungry just to remember! Each pita gyros cost us 3,20€.

→ Souvlaki Story Mykonos:

The Souvlaki Story Mykonos is very close to the Mykonos windmills, a great option and cheap place to eat in Mykonos! The rations are very generous. Take a look at the TripAdvisor photos and your mouth will water!

→ Progress Mykonos:

The restaurant Progress Mykonos was a total success, we found it by chance because it is very close to the Hotel Corfos where we were staying, it is new and with a very nice decoration!

The food is delicious, the only downside is that they were quite slow, we excused them thinking that they had only recently opened.

Another day we took a couple of pizzas for dinner at the hotel, very good too!

Inside there is also a bakery/pastry with Greek sweets with a very good pint.

You can take a look at his website.

→ Tokyo Joe:

Tokyo Joe restaurant is located between Ornos and Mykonos Town, is an Asian food restaurant with a lot of variety of dishes, we liked it a lot!

The place is very nice and well decorated, we order the food to take and we take it to our hotel.

After a day going through all the things to see in Mykonos we ended up at night bursting and we don’t even have the strength to go out to dinner…!

→ Bowl Restaurant/Cafe:

The Bowl Restaurant/Cafe was also a discovery, we had a brunch but it’s also a great place to have breakfast or lunch in Mykonos, it has many vegetarian and vegan options and a very cool decor!

We tried the avocado toast (7€) and a bowl of yogurt (9€), all very good!

Where to eat cheap in Platis Gialos

In this zone of beaches the supply of restaurants is not so extensive as in Ornos or Mykonos Town, but it has several restaurants with thousands of positive opinions that turn them into excellent places where to eat in Mykonos and to make a visit to this zone of beaches.

→ Avli Tou Thodori:

The Avli Tou Thodori was one of the restaurants that most recommended us to eat in Mykonos, is located on the beachfront and is number 1 in Platis Gialos with more than 3300 opinions in TripAdvisor. The fish dishes are about 20€ and the moussaka 13€.

The Yialo-yialo is also a very good option to eat on the beach of Platis Gialos, is located at the foot of the beach and serve Greek and Mediterranean food, the pasta dish is about 17 € and the moussaka about 18 €.

It is not very cheap to say, but you have to take into account the place where it is.
