The first thing to do is to walk through its small centre (a shopping area with charming shops, souvenirs and decorative items, as well as cafés and restaurants). There is also a promenade along the coast with beautiful floating houses.

Nearby is the Vista Point overlooking the Golden Gate and the city of San Francisco on the opposite coast to Sausalito. In the walk through the village we will also see many wooden houses.
